Head of Regional Press

Les currently runs MediaCom Accent, a regional media team of local specialists involved in the implementation of planning and buying of all things regional and local. Sits on the Jicreg Board, and also held the post of Chairman of the Regional Press Club for 3 years.
He began his career on the client side, at IPC Magazines, working his way up to run an in-house media unit involved in the planning and buying of media campaigns for various publications, across their the portfolio.
In 1985 he moved to The Media Business as a planner buyer on a number of major retail clients. Set up a regional team specifically to look after Mazda Cars Dealerships in 1990, becoming Associate Director, and help launch Mediacom Accent in 2001, working across the whole agencies portfolio of clients needing a regional input, and becoming the number 1 buying point for regional media.

Les is an avid Spurs supporter and the keenest fisherman in the land, and can found on the banks of Cambridgeshire's lakes and rivers most weekends.
